McGilligan's YOUNG ORSON, Finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize

Pat McGilligan's YOUNG ORSON: The Years of Luck and Genius on the Path to Citizen Kane, is a biography finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. Awards will be announced on April 9th in Los Angeles.

PENIEL E. JOSEPH SELECTED AS WINNER OF BENJAMIN L. HOOKS NATIONAL BOOK AWARD RECIPIENT

The Benjamin L. Hooks Institute for Social Change has selected Stokely: A Life by Peniel E. Joseph as the winner of its National Book Award for 2014. The award recognizes publications that best advance an understanding of the American civil rights movement and its legacy. Dr. Joseph will deliver a talk about his book on February 11, 2016 (time and place will be announced at a later date).
